Amr received his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Pharmacyin Cairo University in 2005. He then received a post graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy in 2008 from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He received his MSc. in Clinical Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy Queen’s University in Belfast (QUB). He is board certified in Cardiology Pharmacy (BCCP) since 2018.

Amr has almost 15 years of experience between operational and clinical pharmacy. He works in Al Wakra Hospital where he covers the cardiology care unit and in the anticoagulation clinic. He is a Pharm D preceptor and adjunct clinical instructor for Pharmacy students in Qatar University (QU). Since 2018, he has been invited to give the arrhythmia lectures for QU pharmacy students. He is a preceptor for the Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) pharmacy residency program in Qatar. Last year, he was awarded a merit in the Stars of Excellence awards for being a part of the anticoagulation stewardship program. He is also a PhD student in College of Pharmacy, Qatar university.
